This course will teach you the process and methods of brain tanning animal hides to preserve them as buckskin and hair on hide. Step by step instruction is provided and all tanning materials are supplied. This is a live onsite class which will be held near Athabasca on Saturday and Sunday.
One day 1 you can make your own tanning tools for tanning your hides and where you can work on your own hide that you are able to bring.
Day 2 covers the stretching and softening process and we will smoke the hide.
